James became a star during his time at St. Vincent-St. Mary HS (Akron, Ohio). It was only fitting the Cleveland forward accepted the first MVP award of his career in the school's gym. He earned the honors after averaging 28.4 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.2 assists during the 2008-09 campaign.
