Luckily for Jordan, for Nike and for us, the gamble paid off!

The Nike Air Jordan 1 Low became a highly sought after sneaker on athletic fields, college campuses and just about everywhere in between. It was a comfortable shoe with a unique blend of color options, which made it fashionable as well.

But then, in the early 2000s Nike surprised all of us again and recreated the Air Jordan 1 Low, a decision some critics were concerned would end the line's years of success.
