A Quick Review of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent Bred Shoe
The designers at Nike knew what they were doing when they created this shoe.
First, the Air Jordan Patent Bred gives a gorgeously glossy finish to the Air Jordan's typical leather upper.
The original black leather base is contrasted with subtle hints of Varsity Red on the toe box and the heel.
That Varsity Red is also visible on the trademark Nike Swoosh and the collar flap, which gives this shoe a clean, finished look, all while sticking to the original style.
On the tongue, Nike left the nylon tongue in black, as well as the always-visible Wings logo, stamped in black on the Varsity Red collar of the shoe.
Though on the original model the laces were black, you could replace these with red laces to give another pop of color if you wanted to.

Despite all this glorious gloss, these High OG Patent Bred kicks are still as comfortable as they are cool.
